A former musician, Christopher Wright is a leading cannabis advocate who took a greater interest in the plant after seeing the positive effects it had on his father’s quality of life and outlook during his battle with metastatic lung cancer. Before passing away, Christopher Wright’s father encouraged him to educate the public about cannabis’ medicinal benefits and work toward legalizing the plant. One of the first steps he took in this regard was the establishment of Cannabis Talk 101, which was the first-ever FM radio show dedicated solely to cannabis in Southern California.
Beyond educating the public through this platform, Christopher Wright has worked extensively with the nonprofit Weed for Warriors, which supports and advocates for the holistic rehabilitation of military veterans with opioid addiction and PTSD. He later expanded upon Cannabis Talk 101 by creating the subsidiary Cannabis Talk Network to assist entrepreneurs in creating legal business operations in the industry. Outside of Southern California, he has delivered cannabis education services to states like Florida, Georgia, Texas, and Massachusetts.
